Voice agents take up space

The idea
Expand voice agents from narrow call tasks into multimodal, deeply integrated systems that manage complete workflows and entire customer relationship cycles.
Why this is interesting
- Completing a customer workflow means knowing what happened after the call. Start at the handoff between the conversation, the business record and the next accountable employee.
- A convincing voice interaction does not establish authority to change a booking or make a commitment. Agree the allowed actions and escalation path before testing an integrated workflow.
Possible starting points
Call-to-record reconciliation
Using synthetic bookings, compare the caller’s requested change, the reviewed business record and the final confirmation for contradictions.
Interrupted customer journey
Rehearse a dropped call or unavailable downstream system, testing how a person resumes the task without repeating or duplicating it.
Questions to answer
- Can caller and operator verify the same final state after a change?
- Does the workflow stop or escalate when the requested action exceeds its authority?
