No. 1029Problem statementEnergy and environmentDevelopment of a non-electrical device for tracking the movement of the sun for movement of the solar panels, increasing their efficiency.
Develop a low-cost, nonelectrical solar tracker that reorients panels with the sun without an external power supply. It should be reliable and easy to install, offering a lower-maintenance alternative to electrically driven tracking. The source does not prescribe a passive mechanism or validated energy gain.
No. 1050Problem statementEnergy and environmentDesigning and development of a pressure transducer based equipment with a well cap for measurement of heads in autoflow wells
Develop a well cap with a regulating tap and pressure-transducer sensor for autoflow wells, particularly relevant to Terai aquifers. It should both limit uncontrolled discharge and convert pressure to water-head height above ground. The source contrasts this with manually adding an above-ground pipe to measure head; it does not specify a sensor range or cap standard.
No. 1052Problem statementEnergy and environmentDesign/Development of an efficient Energy Storage System (ESS) to integrate intermittent Renewable Energy sources and to support/stabilize the grid.
Develop and pilot energy storage that integrates intermittent renewable generation and supports grid stability. Explore lower capital/operating costs, better capacity/efficiency/lifetime and material/manufacturing approaches, rather than prescribing one storage chemistry. Include safety/performance/interconnection considerations, possible policy changes and stakeholder engagement. Small real-world pilots should supply effectiveness and scaling evidence.
