Indigenous High Capacity Ethernet LOS Radio

Source

Source summary

Develop indigenous line-of-sight Ethernet radio equipment providing an effective bandwidth of at least 1 Gbps. The source asks for contemporary modulation and error correction, adaptive coding/modulation and automatic transmit-power control. These are specified capabilities, not evidence of an existing product.

MILGRAD/JSS-55555 compliant 5G Mobile handset (UE) for Military Applications

The Indian Army seeks a military-grade 5G handset for tactical communications whose greater useful range reduces the number of base stations, crews and associated field footprint. The source requires compliance with JSS-55555, operation on two specified 5G bands, higher transmit and antenna performance than commercial devices, physical push-to-talk, a detachable battery and extended standby and talk endurance. Exact radio-performance values and deployment locations are omitted here.

VUHF Satellite Applique Unit for Satellite Software Defined Radios (SDRs)

Develop indigenous handheld V/UHF satellite software-defined radios for Indian Armed Forces personnel in remote parts of the Indian subcontinent. The source lists low weight, programmable bands, standards compliance, minimum data availability, mobile ad-hoc networking, fallback connectivity to terrestrial stations, communication while moving and strong encryption as desirable, approximate guidelines that may change rather than fixed final specifications.

Indigenous Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM)

Develop indigenous Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing equipment with at least 100 Gbps per wavelength. It should support multiple wavelengths, optical modulation, forward error correction and mixed client interfaces, including existing lower-rate services. Redundancy is requested at all levels.
