Development of Space Weather Package to include Sensors, Processing and Analysing Software

Source

Source summary

The challenge asks for a space-weather package combining sensors with software for data processing and analysis. It should detect and interpret natural conditions that can disrupt space assets and dependent services, enabling predictive or preventive protective action rather than only post-event diagnosis.

Autonomous Docking Operations for On-Orbit Maintenance and Refuelling (OOMR)

The challenge asks for autonomous docking technologies that support refuelling, maintenance and upgrades of friendly, cooperative spacecraft in orbit. It covers precise rendezvous, proximity operations, terminal guidance, docking methods and the interfaces needed to service an agreed target spacecraft.

Design and Development of Sovereign Quantum Radar

Demonstrate a sovereign quantum-radar system whose principal deep-tech target is viable room-temperature generation of entangled photon pairs without cryogenic infrastructure. Nonlinear crystals, quantum dots and electro-optomechanical transduction are examples, not mandated approaches. In a controlled test, the system must show measurable quantum advantage over a classical radar using equivalent transmitted energy, including improved detection confidence in noise and clutter. Operational military sensing details are intentionally omitted.

Analysis of SAR imagery using various tech to include SAR & EO Imagery fusion and Metadata exploitation.

The source notes that synthetic-aperture-radar imagery remains useful at night and in bad weather but is hard to interpret without optical references and specialist knowledge. It suggests, rather than mandates, fusing SAR and electro-optical imagery, extracting changes, and using user-defined stable terrain, infrastructure or standard targets to enhance readability. It also asks for software that exposes material-related information derivable from SAR metadata while keeping observations distinguishable from enhanced or substituted content.
